The group of waterfalls on the Černá Desná River is located under the Souš Dam, not far from Desná.

The river forms cascades and several metres high waterfalls. There are several formations called Čertovy Hrnce i.e Devil's Pots, created by water erosion in the stones. In 2000, an educational trail was opened (the waterfalls on the Černá Desná). The red trail will take you to the Souš water reservoir.

Walking trip around the Ruptured Dam

The walking trip around the Ruptured Dam is intended for more able families of tourists. A route with an elevation gain of approximately 400 m awaits you, the reward will be beautiful views and a visit to the waterworks built on Bílá Desná, today known as the Ruptured Dam.
