The Prachovské Skály nature preserve is one of the most popular regions in the Czech Republic. It is one of the oldest nature preserves in the country. 


The Hruboskalsko is one of the best-known rock formations. It is characterised by impressive towers reaching up to 55 m and also by steep canyons.

Varnsdorf is situated in the northernmost part of the Czech Republic, from three cardinal points it is surrounded by the frontier line with Germany.

It lies under the Lusetian Mountains in the basin of the Mandava river. The history of Varnsdorf goes back to the first half of the 13 th century. In 1849 a number of small villages united into the largest village in the Austrian and Hungarian Monarchy, and in 1868 it was declared a town.
