The mill was founded in 1833 and was built on the Stébenka River, which used to spin the mill wheel through the drive. The mill is a two-floor brick building and its roof is covered with shingles. A small brook used to feed the drive and in winter, it prevented the mill wheel from freezing. In 1949, the last wooden wheel was installed and four years later, milling with water was terminated. The remains of milling with water were covered and the only reminder of them is a small piece of a 40-cm diameter shaft. In 1953, electricity started to be used to power the machines.

Dubecko Mill was one of the three mills (Dubecko, Sekerovy Loučky, Chloumek and Poddubecký) that used to stand on the Stébenka River. However, Dubecko is still functional and the current owners, the Zuna family, use it to mill rye in the traditional way.
