Near the village of Lažany is a rock formation with a carved Gothic arch that is known as the Pekařova brána Gate according to Czech historian Josef Pekař.

The gate is located along the road from Libošovice to Vyskeř and was created when the road was built. When builders hit a rock that was referred to as the Monk by the locals while constructing the road, they decided to keep it and cut a broken arch into it. They also cut stairs to the top.
