The first mention of Podsemínský Mill dates back to the first half of the 16th century. The mill had several owner over three centuries and in 1821, it was bought by miller Franz Skála. After disagreements with farmer Dlask from Dolánky, Skála sold Dolánecký Mill on Vazovecký Brook and bought Podsemínský Mill. The Skála family used to run Podsemínský Mill for five generations until it was officially closed in 1951.
In the 19th century, the building of the mill had two parts – an old Bohemian one and a saw mill. Before it was redeveloped into a cylinder mill after 1880, the mill had four wheels, one of which powered the saw. After the redevelopment, the mill only had one wheel and the saw was removed. There was also a bakery that also supplied bread to nearby villages after 1918.
The mill was rebuilt into its current appearance in 1937 and ten years later, miller Jaroslav Skála had a Francis turbine installed. Currently, Podsemínský Mill is owned by the descendants of the last miller, Jaroslav Skála. All equipment has been preserved.
