The Zvědavá or the Curious Lane is an extraordinary set of traditional folk architecture.

Most of the houses were built after the fire in 1788. The name Zvědavá Ulička i.e. Curious Lane is based on the fact that the houses at the western side are situated in a special way one after another: each following object is shifted by one window axis closer in the street. Hence, the line of the houses is quickly narrowed and curved, and the houses evoke an impression that the curious inhabitants could have not missed anything happening on the main street.
