The road will take you into the middle of old wooden houses whose shingle roofs have been replaced but the original characteristic little windows and adjacent gardens are still there. This part of the town still has the typical atmosphere of the old Krkonoše times. The lanes, crossing and branching, will take you to remarkable corners. Each of those - at first sight very poor - wooden cottages is an original, and has its own specific character and beauty. There is, for example, the very important Empire-style house called Grosovsko (nicknamed Trávnická Radnice i.e. the town hall of Trávník).

Another attraction on the route of the trail is the premises of the Church of St Jacob the Greater with an ossuary. Selected houses are described on information panels and in brochures that provide more details, a map and beautiful photographs.

Visiting children may enjoy walking with a worksheet that consists of a colouring part, a puzzle and other little tasks.
